Three sequences. The rest of the inbox is someone else’s job.
Onboarding, trial-to-paid, win-back. Each one is a fixed package: a 75-minute strategy call, every email with one tested variant, a check of your build before it sends, and a review 30 days after. No hourly rate, no retainer to cancel.
The three, side by side
Same call, same review, same two-part invoice. What changes is how many emails, what triggers them, and the one extra piece of work each sequence needs before anyone writes a subject line.

Invoiced half on booking, half when final copy lands. Not sure which sequence is losing you the most? That question takes up the first twenty minutes of the call. Ask for the call
We take:
What goes in, what comes out, what doesn’t
The table says what each package costs. This says what we’ll ask you for before the call, what lands in your inbox afterwards, and what we leave out on purpose.
-
You send us
- Your current onboarding emails, even if it’s only the welcome
- Signups and activations by week, last 90 days
- A test account we can sign up with, so we see what a trial user sees
You get back
- 5 emails and 5 variants, in your tool’s format
- A trigger map: which event fires which email, and the delay
- A handover doc naming each test variable and why
- The build check, the 30-day review, two rewrites
Not in it
- In-app tooltips and product tours
- Welcome-screen copy
- A new HTML template. Plain text tends to win here anyway
-
You send us
- Trial length, and exactly what stops working at expiry
- Your pricing page and plan names
- Conversion by trial day, if you have it
You get back
- 7 emails and 7 variants, including one for the grace period
- Notes on every place the emails and the pricing page disagree
- A handover doc naming each test variable and why
- The build check, the 30-day review, two rewrites
Not in it
- Rewriting the pricing page itself
- Discount strategy. We write the offer only if you’ve already decided to make one
- Countdown timers, unless the product really does stop
-
You send us
- The exit-survey or cancellation-reason export
- Your changelog since the oldest cancellations
- Anyone you can’t email, by consent or contract
You get back
- Leavers sorted into up to three segments by reason
- 4 emails and 4 variants, the opening line written per segment
- A handover doc naming each test variable and why
- The build check, the 30-day review, two rewrites
Not in it
- A sequence for a product that hasn’t changed. We say so on the call, and you keep the money
- Failed-payment emails. That’s dunning, and usually a billing-settings fix
Counted in working days
From the call to the review. The only stretch we don’t set the pace for is your build — and we check that too.

Review
45 minutes once there are enough sends to read. Two rewrites inside five working days.
The 30 days start from first send, not from final copy. If your volume needs longer to produce a readable result, we wait — the review is booked when the numbers are ready, not when the calendar says so.
What to bring to the 75 minutes
Bring what you have. Missing three of these is normal; the call still works. Tick them off here if it helps — nothing is sent anywhere.
Send what you can to studio@alderashcopyworks.com a day ahead. We read it before the call, so the 75 minutes aren’t spent on introductions.
Also on the desk. Also off it.

Sequence audit$685
Send your current sequence; it comes back marked up line by line within five working days. No call. Good for finding out whether you need a package at all.

Trigger map only$1,420
The activation event, the event list and the send logic, worked out on a call and written up. No copy. For teams who’d rather write the emails themselves.

Second test round$1,180
After a package’s 30-day review: new variants for the three emails with the most room to move, and a second read 30 days later. Existing packages only.

All three, one lifecycle$9,640
The three sequences written as one, so day 9 of onboarding hands over cleanly to day 1 of the trial emails. The strategy call becomes two sessions. $1,375 less than booking them separately.

Not beneath us. We’d be average at them, and you’d be paying sequence prices for average.
